from 122 reviewsI have had huge complications acquiring my Gioia Alleria Crepuscolo pen, purchased from Grand Vision Pens I expected no problems, but French customs returned the pen to sender? I received many daily emails from Royal Mail saying the parcel ha been delivered? But no pen arrived, thinking it had been lost I contacted Grand Vision, they put me in the picture with regard to the problem customs had created, re packaged and re sent it, the pen arrived it a very robust carton, promptly this time, and to say I am impressed with the build quality would be an understatement, it is one of the nicest pen I have seen, excellent finish, and design, I will enjoy using this pen and reflect on the problems involved in acquiring it as it now has a history of it's own!
This purchase was made very difficult by the French Customs service who, for no apparent reason returned the parcel to sender. However, after action by prompt action by Grand Vision the parcel was re sent and the excellent Gioia pen arrived in very quick time, the pen is more than I expected from a modern pen, really well made and looks very nice. Many Thanks Grand Vision for your efforts on getting this gem to me. Chris Buckingham, France.
A few days ago I gave a 1-star review to Grand Vision Pens because Royal Mail claimed to have delivered my pen and that it was received and signed (with just a cross!) by somebody. I was anxious about the prospect of not being able to recover the wrongly-delivered parcel. The following day I contacted the seller to see if they could give me assistance. Alex of Grand Vision agreed to visit the Post Office to find out what the problem was, and returned to tell me that Royal Mail admitted to have made a mistake in their tracking info, and that the parcel should be delivered on the next day. That didn't happen the next day, so I assumed that the parcel had been permanently lost. Early this morning Alex went to the Post Office to check again, and thanks to his efforts I finally received the parcel in late morning. Thank you again, Alex.
The pen I bought is the Gioia Alleria Amaranto, made in Naples Italy. It's a mid-price pen, yet the overall quality is surprisingly good. The purple acrylic has a luxurious feel to it, the steel nib is wet, smooth and not too stiff. One really excellent feature of the pen is the buttery smooth piston filling system, comparable to those in Pelikan pens. Finally a pleasant surprise is the discount card found inside the box. I will definitely take advantage of the discount when I shop again at Grand Vision, this time aiming for a higher model.
Had a lovely conversation with Alex who went out of his way to explain the pen, how to get the best from it etc. They also included a print out of the history of the manufacturer which made it a lovely gift. Suspect I will be back for a pen for myself at some point...
I received the case 2 weeks ago. Imo the case has a the perfect size for placing it on my desk or in a cupboard. The trays seem solid enough can can be removed easily for cleaning. The largest pens (OMAS AM87 and Lamy Dialog) fit well.
This addition to my pen collection is my second Bellavista. Beautifully made and aesthetically very pleasing it is a welcome addition. The fine nib is very smooth and it’s already being put to good use. I must thank Alex for sourcing the pen for me and for advice regarding a suitable choice of ink for its intended purpose. The Jacques Herbin Rouge Hematite is proving very successful. Excellent customer service throughout the journey.
I recently acquired the Gioia Partenope Avorio fountain pen, and it has swiftly become my prized possession. From its sleek design to the smooth flow of ink, every aspect of this pen exudes excellence.
Crafted with precision and elegance, the pen fits comfortably in my hand, making writing a truly pleasurable experience. The nib glides effortlessly across the paper, leaving behind a bold, distinctive line that adds character to my handwriting.
Filling the pen is a simple yet satisfying ritual, reminding me of the timeless craftsmanship that went into its creation. And with its durable construction, I know this fountain pen will be a faithful companion for years to come.
In a world inundated with disposable writing instruments, the Gioia Partenope Avorio fountain pen stands out as a beacon of quality and sophistication. It has reignited my love for the written word and transformed the act of writing into a cherished daily ritual. If you're seeking a fountain pen that seamlessly blends style and functionality, look no further than this exquisite piece of craftsmanship.
Recently brought this pen from Grand Vision. Alex was extremely helpful. As looking for 1.5mm nib. He checked his stock while on phone and found one. I received it two days later packaging was excellent.
It was a breeze ordering items from here and I received just what I wanted. Also, Alex was very helpful and information when I asked him regarding vintage fountain pens and other services information. Will be back for sure!
I love this ink and sadly Pilot discontinued it a wee while ago. Grand Vision Pens managed to source some, kept me in the loop as it took a little while and held onto it while I was on holiday.
Truly perfect service, really recommend them! Many thanks!
Great pen, writes as described!
Love this pen!
Great pen. Looks very smart and writes well. Excellent service from Alex at Grand Vision Pens.
A lovely looking pen -it surprised me as to how fine it is. This pen came with a particularly smooth Fine nib -a real pleasure to write with and to look at! I am a big fan of the Gioia pens -they have a unique shape and form and this is a great example. I look forward to new releases.
Absolutely charmed by this pen. The stub nib is truly flexible and it lays down a lot of ink! The more I use the pen, the more I like it. Lovely!
