The Story
The Pilot Pen Company is Japan's oldest pen manufacturer, and Pilot pens are some of the finest fountain pens in the world. Their low to mid range pens are some of the best value and highest fountain pens available.
The Pilot Custom is a highly desirable and collectable pen. Classic lines make this a vintage pen with gravitas. The nib code denotes production year of 1973. As one might expect from Pilot the white gold nib is super smooth and high performing. Do see the writing sample, the nib is closer to a Western Extra Fine than a fine. The pen comes full serviced and ready to write. We have imported a new old stock Con-20 ink converter from Japan to provide an original filling experience.
The Nitty-Gritty
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips splits or engravings.
The pen shows signs of wear to the black acrylic on the clip, and the cap tassie is slightly misaligned. The pen shows signs of wear in the form of micro-scratches commensurate with use.

If you do not like the pen and wish to return it, this can be arranged but at the discretion of Grand Vision Pens and the return postage at your expense. Once the pen has been returned a refund will be issued subject to the satisfactory condition of the pen.
