The Story
In 1988 the Parker Duofold Centennial was launched to celebrate one hundred years of writing instrument manufacture by Parker. With design cues from the Parker Duofold pens of the 1920s, allied with technologies of the present, the Parker Duofold Centennial and Parker Duofold International pens are timeless classics of outstanding quality and performance.
The orange 'Special Edition' was released for a limited period in the early 90's and has fast become a collector's favourite, as it harkens back to the original Orange Duofolds of the 1920's and 30's.
The pen is in mint condition - it comes boxed in its original Cherry hardwood case, fully serviced and ready to write, with a deluxe Parker Ink Converter installed.
Imperfections
There are no imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings. Only light signs of handling
The date code is faint and barely legible, and the box has a few minor marks, but otherwise a perfect example.
Writing Style
The pen carries an 18k Fine nib which writes a smooth fine line with good ink flow, a real joy to write with
