14k Gold Conway Stewart Nib - Flex Nib
Lever Filled Fountain Pen: serviced and ready to write
A lovely and rather rare to find Conway Stewart. This particular model was commissioned by OXO Ltd (the large food product manufacturer) as a prize for their OXO Painting Book competition, and as such is a limited edition fountain pen.
The fountain pen is in overall very good condition.
The pen has been taken apart, cleaned, polished and fitted with a new inc sac
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings
The hardened rubber is somewhat discoloured and the gold cap bands and fittings are slightly tarnished, however the pen is in overall very good shape and simply looks a little vintage
The 14k Gold Nib has been tuned and writes beautifully offering a little flex (not perhaps a full blown semi flex, but a nice springy nib) nice ink flow. In terms of line variation a fine to a medium. Very nice
