A bigger pen than I expected, one of the largest in my collection, but very comfortable in the hand. The resin is a lovely swirly mix of dark and lighter blue. I like the matt black cap and section as a contrast. Incorporating some of the resin between the two silver cap bands is a lovely detail. Very nice to write with, with a smooth nib (fine) and pretty Gioia logo. All in all a beautiful pen -a must for any collection, and a great pen for every day writing.
