The Full Story
A delightful complete Conway Stewart set, in marbled plum pearl, fully restored in house by Grand Vision Pens. We love the colours on these stunning instruments, complimented by the gorgeous faux satin lined box
The fountain pen has a soft fine nib, and the pencil is a propelling pencil which contains its original lead. A lovely piece of writing history, very well preserved and subsequently restored, ready to provide years of writing joy
The fountain pen is in near mint condition and the pencil is in excellent condition
The pen has been taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, abraded and polished to 12,000 grit, buffed and re-polished and fitted with a new inc sac
The pencil has been checked over, cleaned and polished, it contains its original lead.
There are no major imperfections to note, no splits cracks or engravings
The only minor imperfections to note are some brassing the gold trim, otherwise the set is in perfect condition.
The box also shows signs of its age.
The 14k Gold Nib has been tuned and writes beautifully, a soft and ever so slightly springy fine nib.
