Parker's release of the brushed steel harlequin was an attempt to revive sales by giving the Parker 45 an exciting new look. The short production run of these pens, combined with their brushed steel finish have made these a collector's favourite and a robust and hard wearing everyday writer.
Production of The Parker 45 Harlequin began in 1979 and into the early 80's, with most models dating between 1980 and 1982. All Harlequins were made in the UK at the UK Newhaven factory in 1980 apart from a few very early examples.
The pen is in immaculate condition with a steel medium nib and its original aerometric (squeeze to fill) ink converter.
There are no imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings.
A very nice, clean example - it would be listed as mint if the box and papers were present
