I already had a Parker 75 with a medium nib, which was bought for me new when I left school and was moving into a grownup world. I have always loved the way the Parker 75 writes, so when I wanted something with a fine nib, I wanted another Parker 75. The gold perle is a beautiful pen to look at, well balanced, and a pleasure to write with. The fine nib is lovely, but less forgiving than the medium nib when using drier inks. With an ink with good flow though it is a real pleasure to write with.
