In 1988 the Parker Duofold Centennial was launched to celebrate one hundred years of writing instrument manufacture by Parker. With design cues from the Parker Duofold pens of the 1920s, allied with technologies of the present, the Parker Duofold Centennial and Parker Duofold International pens are timeless classics of outstanding quality and performance.
The orange 'Special Edition' was released for a limited period in the early 90's and has fast become a collector's favourite, as it harkens back to the original Orange Duofolds of the 1920's and 30's.
The set is in superb condition, complete with outer sleeve, cherry wood presentation box, and the fountain pen still carries its gold retail tag. The set has not been used much and is in near mint condition.
There are no imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings, a near perfect example. Some very minor surface wear (very minor indeed, evidence of handling etc) otherwise perfect.
The pen carries an 18k medium nib which writes a smooth medium line with good ink flow, a real joy to write with
The pencil has a full compliment of lead, and the rubber has never been used
