14k Gold CS Nib – FLEX STUB Nib
Lever Filled Fountain Pen: serviced and ready to write
The renowned and beautiful crack black ice finish by Conway Stewart has stolen the hearts and minds of many pen enthusiasts, this particular pen has a beautiful clear white 'vein' running through the black finish, with clear crisp imprints and a superb Conway Stewart stub nib, which flexes beautifully.
The fountain pen is in near mint condition.
The pen has been taken apart, cleaned, polished and fitted with a new ink sac
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings
The pen shows minor surface wear commensurate with its age, overall it is a beautiful clean example.
The 14k Gold Nib is a unique beauty, it is a stub nib with a good degree of flex and line variation. It writes a medium line on the downstroke, and when flexed it produces a generous double broad line.
Today flex stub nibs are rarely found on modern pens - they are a real joy for writers looking to add flare to their everyday writing and of course those familiar with these unique and wonderful writers.
