The Full Story
Conway Stewart was started in the UK in 1905 by Frank Jarvis and Thomas Howard Garner, in a small first floor office in Paternoster Row London. They initially sold pens made up of parts that they bought in from other manufacturers. , During The 'Golden Years' between the 1920’s and 1940’s Conway Stewart enjoyed a lofty reputation as the premium British brand and produced some of their best designs during this period. The long lasting 14 carat gold Duro nibs are an integral part of their success along with their beautiful colour schemes and finishes.
Stunning pen, in a highly collectable cracked black ice pattern with a delightful Duro nib - a rarer to find '58' DURO nib original to the pen which writes very smoothly. The pen will no doubt bring a great deal of pleasure for writer's and collector's alike.
Condition
The fountain pen is in excellent condition.
The pen has been fully dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned and polished, fitted with a new inc sac and nib tuned.
Imperfections
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings
There is a minor surface wear in the form of micro-scratches, But truly a clean example, with good barrel imprints - a very nice pen in excellent condition

If you do not like the pen and wish to return it, this can be arranged but at the discretion of Grand Vision Pens and the return postage at your expense. Once the pen has been returned a refund will be issued subject to the satisfactory condition of the pen.
