I love pens, especially the old ones. The current generation, with a few exceptions, does not have the same quality in terms of materials, design, and execution. I am not being a snob or nostalgic. The fact that old pens are still with us is due to someone either using and taking care of them or having been properly stored.
This Mentmore was purchased from Grand Vision Pens (GVP). GVP does an excellent job of retailing pens that have been thoroughly restored and cleaned. The pen fills with ink after four to five cycles of the lever and writes with a lovely smooth medium line. The cap has no cracks or chips and the threads allow it to be securely screwed onto the barrel. Overall, a really nice pen that I enjoy using. Thank you, GVP!
