14k Gold Montblanc 585 'Intarsia' Nib – Fine
Cartridge / Converter Filled Fountain Pen: serviced and ready to write
A superb Montblanc 31 with a unique 14k Nib which writes a fine dry line (dry but not too dry with good ink flow).
The nib tipping has been ground to an upturned point, giving the nib a very smooth feel.
This pen is a perfect everyday writer for those who write quickly and enjoy a fine line.
The pen accepts Montblanc cartridges and ink converters.
The fountain pen is in excellent condition.
The pen has been fully dissassembled, checked over, cleaned, reconditioned, polished and dip tested. It works perfectly, and is in superb condition
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings
The only minor imperfections are light surface wear on the clip (microscratches) and gold trim. Otherwise superb.
The 14k Gold Nib has been tuned and writes beautifully.
The nib tipping has been ground so as to be slightly upturned, giving a really smooth experience.
The nib writes a fine dry line, not too dry - there is good ink flow, but using Waterman's Brown ink the drying time was quick.
This nib is perfect for quick writers who like fine nibs
