14k Gold Parker Nib - Fine
Aerometric Filled Fountain Pen: serviced and ready to write
The Parker "51" has been dubbed 'the world's most wanted pen' and indeed it is the worlds most sold fountain pen. The Parker "51" took eleven years to develop but Parker sold over 20 million pens during more than 30 years.
It was named the Parker "51" because Parker felt that they needed a name that wouldn't be hard to pronounce in any country and also easy to remember.
The Parker "51" Mark II is probably the most functional fountain pen ever made. It never leaks, always works and rarely ever breaks.
The fountain pen is in excellent condition.
The fountain pen has been fully dismantled, cleaned and flushed through, feed and nib checked over, tuned and dip tested.
It writes beautifully with a smooth fine nib
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings
Only light surface wear to the cap and barrel, and light marks to the cap barely perceptible.
