Name: Vintage Parker 65 Custom Fountain Pen
Maker: Parker, UK - c1970
Colour: Gold Insignia Pattern
Material: Rolled Gold
Nib: 14k Gold Inlaid Nib - Medium
Filling System: Parker Aerometric Ink Converter Included
Condition: Near Mint
The Parker 65 was produced exclusively in the UK by Parker in the c1960's and early 1970s for a limited production run. It was a popular pen - the return to the open style nib and a step away from the hooded nibs of the 51 and 61 models was well received. The pen was somewhat eclipsed by the release of the Parker 75, but has remained a firm favourite as a reliable everyday pen.
This model comes in close to perfect, mint condition, with very little use and a lovely smooth medium nib, complete with its original aerometric ink converter (squeeze to fill) and original Parker hardcase.
There are no imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings. Only very minor signs of use in the form of micro-scratches, a close to perfect example.
