The Full Story
A rare Signet fountain pen made in England c1930's. The pen carries a 14k gold warranted nib, which is slightly upturned and writes like a stub nib with line variation from a fine to a medium.
The Nitty Gritty
There are no major imperfections to note, no splits cracks or chips.
The lever bar is slightly discoloured, and the clip is not quite flush to the cap, however the imprints are bold and crisp and the pen is nice and clean and shiny. There is an engraving 'EM Whitcombe, which is barely visible to the eye but is nonetheless present.
