The Story
Summit pens have a complex history, which can be traced back to Kay & Co a liverpool based pen company producing pens in the late 1800s,, through to Curzon Ltd who produced SUMMIT pens from the late 1920's onwards, and subsequently changed their name to Summit Pens Ltd, Summit's being their best known models.
Summit Ltd ceased pen production in 1955. Summit are known for their well built lever filled pens which often carry reliable branded 14k gold nibs.
This particular model is the S.100 cadet, in green marbled pearl with a trustworthy 14k gold summit nib which writes a stubbish medium line, with line variation from a medium on the downstroke to a fine on the horizontal fully serviced and ready to write.
The Nitty Gritty
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings.
The pen has a couple of indents on the hard rubber top, some brassing to the trim and minor surface wear but is in excellent working condition.
Recommendations
Recommended for everyday use, calligraphy, greeting cards, signatures, journaling, and all forms of appropriate use.
Why not pair with a bottle of Organics Studio Ink - one of the vintage range would suit this pen very well!
