The Story
The Waterman Gentleman has found its place into our neo classic fountain pen collection, as it was produced in the late 1970's by Waterman in France and predates the modern Waterman Le Man model. as Waterman's top of the line model of the era.
The pen represents remarkably good value for a pen of such craftsmanship, lacquered brass is finished with a brown woodgrain effect, with sterling silver gold filled trim, no expense has been spared on this beautiful pen. It is slender and weighty, yet beautifully balanced
The nib is a solid 18k gold nib, it writes very well, a soft smooth medium (do see the writing sample in the photo gallery)
The pen comes fully serviced and ready to write, with Waterman ink converter included.
Imperfections
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings.
There are only the lightest signs of use, tiny micro scratching present, but otherwise a mint example. Superb
