The Story
Conway Stewart was started in the UK in 1905 by Frank Jarvis and Thomas Howard Garner, in a small first floor office in Paternoster Row London. They initially sold pens made up of parts that they bought in from other manufacturers. , During The 'Golden Years' between the 1920’s and 1940’s Conway Stewart enjoyed a lofty reputation as the premium British brand and produced some of their best designs during this period. The long lasting 14 carat gold Duro nibs are an integral part of their success along with their beautiful colour schemes and finishes.

Here we have a lovely No.28 in the green pearl marble pattern, with thin gold cap band and signature Conway Stewart clip. The pen has been fully restored and comes ready to write with a 14k Gold fine nib, a lovely smooth writer with good ink flow - do checkout the writing sample!

The Nitty-Gritty
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips splits or engravings.

There are some marks and micro-scratches on the cap and the barrel, minor brassing to the clip and lever bar, but otherwise a very clean and shiny pen, fully restored and ready to write.
