Button Filled Fountain Pen: serviced and ready to write
Very few Parker Victory's exist with a Wartime cap, this is a lovely example of an early Parker Victory, likely produced in Liverpool or Newhaven during world war II.
The pen has been conservatively restored , rather than fully restored, as the pen is a wonderful piece of history we decided to refrain from abrading and polishing the parts, rather leaving the cap and trim alone, so the pen shows off its vintage rather than hides it.
It has been fully serviced, and is ready to write.
The fountain pen is in overall very good condition.
The pen has been taken apart, cleaned and fitted with a new inc sac
There are no major imperfections to note, no chips cracks or engravings
It shows the usual signs of wear and use for a pen of its age. As mentioned the pen has not been 'made mint' rather it has been left to show its age, there is discolouration to the cap and brassing to the trim and button. The imprints are faint but legible 'Parker Victory REG TM'
All this said, it is in excellent mechanical and writing condition, the nib is lovely and smooth
Please take a look at the writing sample in the photo gallery, a lovely 14k Gold Newhaven nib with a good degree of flex and a nice wet line.
A wonderful piece of history
